A range of equipment available to Department schools and sites to support students with disability, verified under the Department’s Disability Support program and prescribed by the student’s allied health practitioner.
Types of equipment include:
- Transfer and Standing
- Toileting / Self Care
- Classroom Access.
Approved equipment is loaned under contract for use by the individual student, whilst enrolled in a Department site.
To request equipment sites are required to:
- obtain a report from the student’s Allied Health practitioner to support the application
- download and complete a Request for Access Equipment
- forward all documentation to SERU, including the relevant health care/transfer/toileting plan.
Equipment valued under $300 will not be supplied by SERU.
