This is Fiona. She completed the Certificate 1 in Retail Operations. She now has a job with the Delfin Island Café and really loves it. During the Retail course, the group set up their own CD SHOP, where they learnt to deal with customers, answer phones and make a sale. Fiona did her work placement with Harris Scarfe where she learnt skills that help her in her job today. Fiona is registered with the Disability Employment Agency that provides her support and mentoring in her job. Vocational Education and Training is a great way to gain skills that will help you in your work.
