TAFE 2
The reason why I am a successful person and I am achieving my goals, is because I believe in myself. I’m hearing impaired and I never let my hearing impairment stop me from having a go by jumping barriers. I want to do social work at Uni next year, and what I am doing at the moment to achieve this goal is I’m studying a Certificate 4 in Youth Work and I’m working as a mentor for successful adults in life, helping deaf and hearing impaired clients.
I’m also working at the Deaf Society as an Administration Officer. Along the way in my success I’ve won a scholarship for my Certificate 4 in Youth Work and I’ve been in the Messenger Newspapers twice. Overall, I’ve come this far, because I’ve been a very positive, confident person, and I’m a kind of person who wants to prove that you can do anything regardless of your hearing impairment.
