As a Parent Advocate I’d like to encourage parents to actively participate in the process of their sons and daughters’ transition from school to either permanent study, various employment options or day activities. It is most important that students feel supported and encouraged by both home and school to take the next step. This should not be a daunting experience, but an exciting new stage in their lives. Perhaps parents may wish to use a Parent Advocate in this process.
