ADULT COMMUNITY EDUCATION 1
At Neighbourhood Centres we run Adult Community Education programs and we are funded through the ACE Unit. An exciting program that we’re involved with in the Neighbourhood Centres is called the Off the Pantry Shelf Project. This enables young people to be involved in small business skills, marketing, packaging, and gift making. Some of the items that they’ve made include cooking mixes and gourmet muffin mixes. Neighbourhood Centres are an exciting place to learn new skills, meet people, improve your confidence, or perhaps even become a volunteer. In Neighbourhood Centres we say: “go for your life - connect, contribute, and laugh and learn”.
